Biocompounds (BIC) is an international, open-access, interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed, free-of-charge quarterly journal established in 2024 and published by Research Expansion Alliance (REA). The journal operates as a non-commercial publication and is published in English, providing a global platform for the dissemination of high-quality research on biologically derived compounds and their multidisciplinary applications. The journal focuses on the identification, extraction, synthesis, and bioactivity evaluation of natural and bio-based compounds, as well as drug design, drug delivery systems, in vitro and in vivo studies, and biotechnological production. It also highlights the applications of these compounds across pharmaceutical and medical sciences, food, agriculture, cosmetics, and chemical industries. All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure academic integrity, scientific quality, and impartial evaluation. The journal adheres to the highest standards of publication ethics and follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
